There are all sorts of sites that have information regarding incorporation and the advantages and disadvantages for each type. Because some offer more protection for owners/members than others and some may require double taxation.
Normally, you can go to the Secretary of State website, which is the case in Georgia to look for information and learn about the differences. It is suggested that you consult an attorney for additional information and to make sure everything is filed correctly. There are certain things that must be done, such as deciding on your legal name, how many members, etc...depending on the type you decide on. Our attorney completed and filed everything for us and it was relatively painless.
