Michael,

You kind of had the answer, but went a bit too far.  The odds are 1 in 243, (1/3) to the 5th.  One throw would be 1 in 3, 2 throws 1 in 9, 3 throws 1 in 27, 4 throws 1 in 81, and 5 throws 1 in 243.
