In my particular part of Texas, I don't think the rural counties have been as heavily impacted. We have seen an increase in foreclosure searches but it doesn't seem to be as drastic as seen in other parts of the country (including Texas)
I did a report last year on America's 100 most foreclosure prone Counties. I don't know if the situation has changed for the better or worse for these counties but I expect the latter. Here is a link to the report if you would like to see it.

On the bright side we've seen quite a few searches lately that at first appeared to be pre-foreclosure searches but the updates turned up re-casting agreements. This indicates to me that the lenders may be working with the homeowners now to help keep them in their homes.
