The difference is that we, as abstractors and title examiners, do not impose our requirements on how they do their jobs. We are requested to provide a complete and detailed report, and do so- nothing in the report makes demands of the lender or the mortgage company or the broker- we have no need to know what they do- it might be nice to understand- but does not make a difference in our work.The end result will be the same no matter if we "have a clue or not" about what they are doing .
