I may be missing something, and feel free to correct me if I am wrong. However, a review of the Pennsylvania Secretary of State's records would seem to indicate that The Bertrum Group, LLC is a limited liability company organized on 5/27/04. It also seems to indicate that Bertrum Settlements is a duly registered fictitious name owned by The Bertrum Group, LLC as of 6/21/04. Both entities are listed at the same address. This would also seem to support your earlier statement that both entities are the same. If they are the same entity...how is it that Bertrum Settlements can disavow payment of abstracting invoices properly submitted?
Perhaps I have punched in the wrong search information. Is Bertrum Settlements a separate corporation or limited liability company? If so, when were its articles of incorporation/articles of organization filed?
