In the interest of fairness, I decided that I should give equal time and define the term "liberal".

liberal (LIH-bur-ul) n. [pl. liberals]: 1) one who believes that 10,000 years of recorded human history mean nothing now that they are here; 2) one who never thinks that what they've been doing is wrong, just that not enough money has been spent on it yet; 3)one who thinks that forcibly taking the productivity of one citizen to give it to another citizen who didn't do a thing to earn it is good public policy;  4) one of those wonderful folks who brought us social security, the war on poverty, public housing, 1.5 gpf toilets and public schools that they would never dream of sending their kids to.
