If I can opt out and NOT have to pay into the system... they can knock themselves out and do as they please.  I won't have a bad word to say about the plan at all.  However, I doubt that would be the case.  If I like our plan better and decide to continue providing it to my current employees I, have a feeling that I would still be required to subsidize the government's plan.  No matter how you slice it - if the government wants to cover all of the uninsured they are going to have tax all of us to pay for it.  I for one am already paying enough.

When they show me a plan to lower the costs so that they can implement a plan that covers everyone that will cost me less, I'll jump on the bandwagon.  I don't think that is likely to happen.
