Thank you for your thoughts. While your comments are welcome, you certainly do not know what our dealing with this company is or has been. When we provide services for clients, we expect payment. Period. Furthermore, concerning the courthouses having posts such as this, this is not an uncommon practice. There are notices and postings for companies looking for abstractors, and warnings to abstractors/attorneys of companies that do not pay. These are generally posted by the individuals that have not been paid for their services. It is up to the clerks of the individual courthouses on what they allow to be posted, if anything. Some allow this practice and some do not.
Finally, concerning your dealings with this company, it's great news to hear that they have always paid you and that you think they are good people in the abstract department. I'm sure they are. However, those of us that have been in the business a long time, know that some clients pay everyone all the time, some pay a few some of the time, and others try and move around enough to not pay anyone most of the time.
