There was an interesting item on the news this morning concerning the price of gasoline. Apparently the main issues that have come to the foreground during an election year are (1) the overall condition of the economy, (2) gasoline prices and (3) affordable health care.
It would appear that Congress is becoming sensitive to these issues...at least to the price of gasoline, and is considering measures to force oil producing nations to increase production...among these measures is the limitation of necessary goods and services we export to these countries or in the alternative increasing the prices we charge them. The one item that was specifically mentioned was military aid. Too bad it took Congress so long to wake up and to respond.
