Hey Steve , How are you doing? I know you are done with the above discussion on online clerk services and It seems you take pride in your work, but------- the statement you made regarding "the almost starts and the corrections the county is counting on examiners to bring to their attention so they can fix " is one of the big problems.
In many case's if a correction is made on-line there is not a notation that a correction has been made( which means different results from different examiners). Also at what point do the clerks say all the mistake's have been found??? You can see this will go on for ever. And what happens when the mistake is found after the claim or the claim come's in on a hopped mtg that you are sure was not there when you did the search but the county "did a fix" without a correction notation and now it's there.
I can go on and on with all the problems of on-line title searching but I won't !! I will just state one more problem which is the biggest concern of the american citizen, ID Theft, on-line service does not benefit " JOHN Q PUBLIC" In anyway but can hurt them in many way's.
