Those that you speak of shouldn't be doing searches in the first place. There should be some pride and integrity and care in the work product you send back to a client.

I don't think that Robert was trying to insult anyone, I think his communication should have been worded a little differently is all.

Although I do not personally know Robert, I do read his blogs and postings and know without a doubt that he is extremely knowledgable about our industry, and I respect him for what he has done, and continues to do, in putting Source Of Title there and attempting to make change in our industy. It is obvious to me (and I am sure many many others) that he truely cares about our profession.

My God, we are all business owner's, if we cannot hold a standard and be problem solver's then we shouldn't be in business. And the solution is not to cut prices down so low that it degrades our profession.

Kevin has also given tons and tons of great advice on how to handle non-paying clients and there are abstractor's still complaining rather than taking his advice. He has even offered to help! Geez what more could you ask for????
