The question that has been asked of us (members of NALTEA), concerning this exam is who in the industry will acknowledge it? Just because we have it and it is available does not mean that anyone else will look to it as something that proves or guarantees quality work. It is a superior start, don't misunderstand what I am saying. However, there appears to be quite a bit of missing and sketchy information. As in who will administer the exam, how will it be graded, in what form will it be given? Also, all those that worked on the exam and questions from the committees, how are they going to get the certification?
Just questions, that our fellow abstractors and examiners have asked of us in the field and which are legitimate concerns. Anyone knowing the answers, feel free to reply.
Look forward to seeing everyone again in New Orleans!
