I should have also mentioned that the family burial ground had not obviously been abandoned as a family member was still visiting the site.  I would be surprised to learn that the visits had only started after the sale to the current owner.  I wonder, if the visits had begun prior to the sale, why the title company appears to have been the primary defendant, rather than the prior owner.  Again, not enough detail in the article.
