I don't think my comments were unpleasant, just an observation of how the entire society has degenerated into a "what's in it for me" and, of course, Dire Strait's famous line - "money for nothing".  This wasn't a personal attack on you, although it seems you have taken it personally.  It seems that the entire country is becoming a victim.  Up here, for example, this past weekend, Mpls police. on a tip for drug dealing, SWAT went into the house only to be met by gun fire from the people in the house.  Of course, the police returned fire.  Fortunately, no one was injured since it was the wrong address (numbers were transposed on report).  Now, the occupant of the house, instead of being charged with firing at police, is suing the police department since "there was a language barrier" even though these poeple have been in the US for 15 years and they thought the SWAT team were criminals.  Perhaps my post merely expressed my frustration with the entire society.
