JT, I think you must have misunderstood the original post. This had nothing to do with a no-find or a misunderstanding of the subject to be searched. Neither was it in the wrong county.
I didn't send an order to the wrong person but rather they sent the same order to two abstractors, my company being one of them.
The order was received on our mobile office fax and we don't waist time checking to see if our clients REALY want us to do the searches they send us.
There was no
potential county error; name spellings; address spellings or anything else on the order that would have prevented us from doing the search. If there had been, we would have contacted them immediately.
There was NO invoicing error and NO breakdown in quality control within my office. If they didn't want the search done quickly and accurately, they shouldn't have sent it to me.
Suppose you filled your gas tank at what you thought was a Shell station and when you went pay out discoverd you were at a Texaco station instead. Would you chastise Texaco for a lack of quality control and demand free gas because they didn't notice you thought you were buying gas from Shell?
