Well, this was a fun thread to read.  I especially liked the short volley regarding credentials. (geeze).

Bottom line - you were sent an order, as an Abstractor you want to, and in almost every case are asked to, turn the search within... 8 'Biz' hrs?

The company made a mistake, you did not.  They should pay. Why any credible company would not is beyond me.  Your options are limited as attorney fees would just wash out the payment.

So me.... I'd call them frequently, email them frequently, and plaster their name all over SOT as a no pay. :^)

David - you did the work as requested. Don't believe as some suggest, it's your fault for not verifying it was a clean order prior.
