Hi Jarrod! Got a big laugh at your analogy of the Kennedys and the Coreleones - sounds like when I was married to my children's father and the holidays. Any way, I digress.
Turducken - I have never made it, but I have heard of it and have seen many recipes for it. It seems to have started down south. How it is done is as follows - whole chicken, whole duck and whole turkey. All birds are deboned. Turkey is laid out first, then duck on top, then chicken, then stuffing. Then, the turkey is pulled up and all is tied together and baked. I love turkey, duck and chicken, but I don't think I could handle all three together - too heavy for me.
I think the best part of making the Thanksgiving dinner, is that by the time dinner is served, I am not that hungry any more.
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
Anita
