It is usually good to put a time limitation in the contract...one year, two years ..five years in order to escape being caught in a business relationship of undue duration with an unsatisfactory client. In the alternative a clause stating that the contract may be terminated at will by either party with or without cause may be something to consider. A decision between the two alternatives is something you need to consider. There is a difference between contract termination and contract breach.
The contract should also contain an escalator clause to provide for periodic price increases to cover inflationary expenses of serving your client.
