Yes, they are listed as POC on the HUD 1, but all to often, the loan does not close and the lender then doesn't want to pay the bill and will sometimes further say that we agreed to be Paid At or Upon Closing.
It is not an easy transition and can be a little scary, but if you want to get and be paid for your work, this is an option and one that I have chosen and at first wasn't sure how it would be taken, but there are only so many abstractors, like there are only so many appraisers and if people will "Just Say No", " I will now work for FREE any longer" then it can happen and actually become the norm instead of the rarity.
Just food for thought! But nothing happens until you take the first step to try something new, right?
