I work in Sales for a Title company in PA.  I KNOW much of my competition is laying off, not hiring.

I wish you the very best in getting on board with an Abstracting or title company as was suggested prior to you going independent.... if this is truly a goal, be patient... this 'mess' will last another year....and then should really take off.  The housing inventory is way too high to not have a great re-surgence.
