From some of the posts on here, it sounds like some are
8-8  "independent flunkies".  At least the 9-5 ers have
some protection under the labor laws to get paid, which
the independents do not.
Salute to freedom from bosses,  but then you get all
the "status calls".   Who really is the flunky?
