Forward this info to all the 1st Am and Landamerica offices so they can start signing up prospective novices for their doomed "Indian Adventure" as related in a recent SOT article about their desire to test the limits of title insurance in India. This might compliment their desire for agents in the US to use their Indian contacts for US title work too- no wait, two negatives don't offset each other, do they?- oh, but this is title insurance, they will certainly find a way!! I know when I read that article I was sure this was the kind of business I would stay way clear of, but I also don't like to take the extreme risks that they seem to enjoy. They don't actually need to know all the details regarding the title, just as long as they can collect the premium- deal with the errors later on .
