Thanks, Dan. My main point is that most of us need a healthy dose of self-respect. Some companies think nothing of abusing and taking advantage of their vendors, yet some of us here continue to let it happen. Part of being a mature professional is knowing when to cut your losses.
My company, for the most part, has been blessed to deal with fair, honest clients who consistently keep us busy and pay in a timely manner. They're the ones who keep me from getting "jaded and bitter".
