The answer is "it depends". It depends, first on whether I can tell from the crappy legal description--to my satisfaction--that I am searching the correct property. If in doubt, I'd go back.
Also, it depends on who the client is. Some clients have good requirements that actually reflect good abstracting, so I'd go the extra mile. Others b**** about every extra sheet of paper you send them, and you know they don't even look at your docs, so no.
As to having to go back, again "it depends". Is it a good client? Is it a county you are in frequently or would it be a special trip?
Those are the things I'd evaluate.
