We use QuestXPress.  It was designed with abstractors in mind, not title companies.  It includes off-site storage that is web accessed, so you can retrieve your files from anywhere, especially out in the field.  It can work with Quick Books or it does have its own accounting software.  Go to http://www.questxpress.com/ for more information.  We are extremely happy with it.  Once we QC that our documents were scanned properly we shredd them.  You will need to get a heavy duty scanner that can scan at least 30-45 pages a minute to make it worth your while.
