District Courty records their liens in the Clerk's office with the state and federal tax liens and circuit court judgments. We have computer screens that are indexed from 1993-2000 and two other computer screens that have 00-present. The books we physically have to pull are anything before 1993 and even a few books are still handwritten so I have to be very careful that I check the handwriting. It can be confusing sometimes but that is why it is called "title searching".
I don't think anyone has ever asked them (Property Insight) about missing judgments. I like to do them myself and not to rely on a third party, that is why I do not have anyone else working for me other than my husband, if I make a mistake, it will be our fault and not someone that is not experienced like these teens on summer break that some abstractors use to run judgments for them.
