I am glad to see more counties using existing buildings for their expansion products. In covering so many counties for the site, I have reported and read about countless counties building new office facilities and spending endless amounts of money on new developments when many of those counties probably had empty buildings such as the one Houdashell used in relocating his county's facilities.
In our area, there are countless new facilities being built for commercial purposes, but what drives me insane is that development companies will come in, tear out trees and wooded areas and destroy the natural ecology when empty facilities or un-used older facilities abound. I'm glad to see that someone was being intelligent in Texas by using a building that was already standing.
