Sorry to hear you were held up, I was thinking of everyone that had to fly in to Dallas when we flew over it. It was not pretty down there and caused us to have quite the bumpy ride. Glad to hear that you made the best of it though. Chandra and I went to the Gaslamp Quarter on Sunday night the streets where packed with Charger fans watching the game, we were there when they lost no body seemed to happy though I have to admit I was being a Patriot fan. We ate at Chianti Restaurant also on 5th, it was the best steak I have ever had.
I thought the conference was just great this year there were interesting speakers with good information and I really did come away from the conference learning a few new things. I was also excited to hear about all the progress the education committee, and can't wait to see how the study guide came out and to see how the certification goes. It was great having everyone together and hearing their ideas for how to improve NALTEA, and I enjoyed Jays discussion about different ways to branch off with your business. Even though it was quite cold out, it was still nice (I'm from Florida we have sunshine most of the year it was a nice break to actually see some cold weather. LOL) and the boat was nicer then any other conference room I've seen. Hats off to those on th events committee for a job well done.
Well I hope everyone has made it home safely and will probably be talking to some of you about some membership committee projects soon.
