That was very well said, David. I couldn't agree more. It is kind of like one of the underwriters that recently had a conference call for their Ohio examiners to explain their search standards. They apparently want a current owner and all easements that would attach to the property. When asked how you find all of the easements that attach when doing a current owner search, they said "you just run a chain of title back as far as you have to and get those easements." How is that a current owner??
You can call a duck a swan, but that doesn't make it so.
