Unfortunately, I am sorry to say a number of years ago I worked for a company in Garfield Hts. that handles property management services for reo properties. You may know them.

Regardless, we had a Doc retreival department and a current owner search department. The manager of that department got Doc retreivals down to $5.00 each. The thinking is that the examiner is already at the courthouse and this is a few seconds to do.

They don't realize what is involved. The only thing that will make a difference is to cut off the VM altogether. We had select counties across the US that we had to pay $45.00 for a doc pull because eventually they all banded together and cut us off.
Just as a side note, we charged our clients up to $90.00 for a doc pull. You are definately a profit center for the VMs.
