WHY do clients insist on calling asking for status 2 hours after I have REPLIED to them that the order is received with a specific eta? Do they WANT to spend money hiring people that just make disruptive and unnecessary phone calls? Isn't it true that the bad abstractors won't answer their phones anyway (sometimes for days) so why bother and the good abstractors (and vendor managers) answer emails in a very short period of time?
What am I missing here?
I lost it with one of my Indian clients earlier this week and came right out and asked why do they bother asking for an acknowledgment and an eta when the order is processed from e-mail when they're just going to call me anyway? NOTHING HAS CHANGED FROM TWO HOURS AGO.
And WHY is everything such a freakin' RUSH?? I don't get that, either. It takes weeks to get a loan approved in most instances, so why does a title report require a 24 hour turn time?
OK. I'm done whining for the day....(whining/wining ....hm...the latter sounds better at this point)
