It's been my experience that January/February is traditionally a slow time of year, at least here in SW PA.  It usually starts to pick up around mid-March as people start to think about either buying homes or doing refis to finance vacations/home improvement projects.  I've already started to see things pick up a bit here in my neck of the woods.
