Because I have been struggling to pay off huge medical debt for over 15 years and I have no savings.

Also, they owners assured me they would work with me to help fix the company, and that they wouldn't just close and walk away. They misled me. Was I naive to believe it? Yes. Does that make it my fault? No.

Please understand that most of what happened  at GDS was out of my control, and lots of bad stuff happened without my knowledge. I did my best and I never intentionally misled anyone. The rug was pulled out from under me.
