Saundra - my experience was the same as Jason's. They got way behind with payment; I had a series of emails with them - and then they paid me in dribs and drabs until the full amount was paid off.
I decided not to have anything more to do with them because I was basically being asked to produce work to support their business without any corresponding commitment on their part to support my business. In all the years I've been doing this, I have had a small number of clients who had difficulties paying me. Mostly it was because they had been stiffed by the companies who had ordered titles with them. Occasionally I had to eat some title work, which is never a tasty meal; and sometimes I accepted partial payments for title work; but my experience with Global Data was that they were perfectly willing to let payments slide forever, until I put pressure on them.
My biggest issue with that scenario was that it wasn't a one shot - "we got stiffed by our client" kind of thing - it was basically just the way they seemed to want to do business and that absolutely did not work for me.
