I'm a boots on the ground abstractor and I can tell you that if you're having issues with turn around times then you have a busy abstractor or an inexperienced abstarctor.  There's not much you can do to speed either of them along.  Some searches take longer than you'd like to search out.  They just do.  The more I can get out the more money I make so I'm not sitting on requests for days.  I will say that if a LOYAL client who always pays quickly, sends me Christmas cards with gas cards and is always a pleasure to deal with sends a rush request, then their order goes to the top of my list if I can still provide a reasonable tat (2-3 days) for my other clients.  Its also easier to get things done quickly if they come in groups.  I cover 32 counties so if my requests are all in one county or a chain of counties that helps.  Instead of being requested in county a on Monday county b on Tuesday and then county a again on Thursday.
