My initial post is as follows:
"
A title search is done by examining public records to look up the history of property ownership.title search shows not only limitations on the use of the property and rights others may have in the property, but also liens or monetary obligations that are outstanding against the property. A title report is written up to show potential problems the property may have.
"
And I was wondering if it's a reflective / excellent description of a title researcher's job. Why such a query? Because I'm not a title researcher myself, however, a title researcher's job is relevant to me.
Additional info: according to BLS,
23-2093 Title Examiners, Abstractors, and Searchers
"
Search real estate records, examine titles, or summarize pertinent legal or insurance documents or details for a variety of purposes. May compile lists of mortgages, contracts, and other instruments pertaining to titles by searching public and private records for law firms, real estate agencies, or title insurance companies."
So, it's pretty good.
Note: I'm putting the above content back because I don't want people to read an empty message, wasting people's time, imho, is a crime.
