Have you received a reply to the email yet?  My friend has a business that has a name similar to it but I don't know if she is doing abstracting.  I found a surveying firm that has that name also which would be a good client.  I think you are being smart not to do anything until you get something more.  It may be a mere mistake that they didn't add a signature square.  Curious to what happens....let us know!
