"to enter our results and fees into a proprietary website", as a software
programmer as well as someone who cares about efficiency, this is a good
idea (business practice) for your client because they would no longer need
to MANUALLY process your invoice(s). And this new process may not add
extra work for you because the time you spend in generating invoice(s) and
sending them can be eliminated now.
In sum, I would consider this new development as an efficiency initiative
from your client end. Probably we should accept changes even when they do
