I recommend the following (and have used this many times in the past)
"While I understand you are trying to be competitive in this market, keep in mind that the vast majority of abstractors have not raised their rates in more than a decade. We are already at a rock bottom price.
Secondly, I have many times been asked to lower my rates because there is going to be a huge influx of orders -- a scenario that has NEVER happened.
I hope you will continue to send orders at our current rate. If the volume is there after 6 weeks, we will be happy to re-assess the situation and possibly come to an agreement regarding a price drop."
