We had one client request receipts for copies from the courthouse. My bookkeeper talked to them and informed them that we have an account with each jurisdiction for copy costs to simplify our payments for such things. As such we don't receive a receipt for each search's copies. 

We only charge what the state sets as a copy fee per page and additional flat fee for the service if it is requested outside of a regular search request.

The company had no problem with it once it was explained.
