So a friend reached out to me with a question.
Maybe one of you can advise me.
His mother's attorney suggested that she, the seller, give a tip of $100/$150 to the title company that the buyer is already paying for we presume.
Is this customary in NY?
Never got a tip in Virginia, but maybe we haven't figured that one out yet.
How would it appear on the HUD?
Seems a little shady to me but I am not familiar with the NY local customs.
