I have a very nice client who sent me an order that included the following instructions:

 Please provide all information and copies related to a security instrument in the amount of $X dated approximately Y.  Our client has advised that this document may not be recorded or may have been misindexed.  Please exhaust all reasonable means of locating  this instrument.

Need I say more?  (Perhaps I should volunteer to go to the borrower's house....)
