I posted a message last fall about Eclipse not paying, and found out Wayne Schutt, the owner wasn't paying a lot of examiners. He contacted me with a sob story - 45 minutes worth, and gullible me, I believed him. He promised to pay, of course. Some of you guys told me not to hold my breath. Someone even suggested that it would be more believable if he sent everyone he owes an email explaining to them, as well. I sent him that suggestion in an email, and could almost sense his sarcasm in his short response, 'thanks for the advice".

Well, you guys were right. I feel quite foolish. I'm still waiting for my $2900.00. Meanwhile, he continues to solicit new examiners around the country. I have a statement on the bottom of all of my searches that the property remains mine until paid for. I've been advised to get proof of payment on properties from some of the trustees for the foreclosures, as that would be theft on his part, and I may be able to take that to the State's Attorney for larceny - we'll see.

Has anyone else started any legal proceedings ?

I've also given him a thoughtful review on 'Yelp'. Just an idea.
