 Before I contact my lawyer (who will charge me -- rightfully so), I thought I'd post here.  If my Michigan based corporation sends orders out to subcontractors in other states, do I have to register with that state as a "foreign corporation?"  I'm thinking "no" because the actual work is being done by a tax-paying local abstractor.  But I don't know for sure.

Anyone got the answer?
