I have received the same notification from a few lenders too.  I too am very concerned about this new vetting system and am wondering too whether or not once you are vetted by Secure Settlements for one lender if you still have to PAY for every time another lender wants you to be approved.   I am looking at this very closely and will know more after some discussion with members of MLTA.   This issue needs to be address immediately by both ALTA and local Land Title Associations if we are going to be able to stay viable as small, independent title agencies. The fees, if you have to pay for each lender to get you approved, can be quite a lot of money.
