True story - I just sent a title report to a client with the owners' name listed  on the report as "cannot determine".  This was entirely due to multiple Registry recording errors, where deeds, which were on their face defective, were accepted for recording by not quite trained enough counter clerks.  Registries should be run from the top down & a Registrar, who cannot, or will not provide adequate training is  a menace to society.  The people who own the property cannot sell; nor can they move to their next home; the couple that was planning to buy this house is now looking for something else to buy.  The Registry, of course, cannot be sued or held accountable for their actions. 

I had the pleasure of meeting Bonnie last week & she would make a great Registrar.
