Congressman and Senators should take zero pay. All to often the only ones that can hold office are the ones that can afford to not work for a year and a half before winning election. Are they the "everyman"?

The more I hear about some Congressman that fell short on his mortgage or has bad credit, I say good... now we have a Representative that can relate to over 50% of Americans. Ivory tower elite theorist who enter office on empty rhetoric and sloganerring (Obama) have such grand ideas for the common folk, and ironically enough have no concept of who or what the common man is.

There are many sites out there that show the disgusting level of waste simply within theCongress and Senate, I won't list any because they all have their own agenda, but google it... as long as you don't get queezy reading horror stories.
