Neat theory but I believe there are some Constitutional restrictions in regards to printing money. I personally think it's a bad idea to have 50 voices for the reserve currency of the world, the existing Fed regions now can't even seems to get their act together.
Our problem is the government needs to start acting like a family economy. Interesting tid-bit... a good friend of mine does Social Security Disability Mediation Hearings. His job is to sit and listen to claimants after their first denile of SSDi. His statement to me is to not worry about baby boomers.... it's people taking advantage of the system.
He explained one case to me where a person got into an auto accident with no serious physical injury. The person made a claim for SSDi because he said he couldn't work because now he suffers from "anxiety" after the crash. The attorneys coached the client on what exactly to say and the Judge had to grant him his claim. He said the law firms specializing in SS claims are raping the system to the tune of thousands of new claims per day across the US.
I'm glad I can pay my "fair share" to help those poor people suffering from anxiety so bad they can't work anymore. btw, that man was 25 years old.
