We all know how expensive health care is for humans. It is also expensive for pets. In some cases it is entirely out of reach for some pet owners, and the only alternative is to put the pet down.

For those of you that may have a dog or cat with cancer financial assistance may be available. The Riedel  & Cody Fund is a foundation that tries to assist pet owners with cancer stricken pets. They are  based in Connecticut, but have just advertised on the news that they are going national.
