They get so many writeoff, perks, office expense accounts, benefits, and friends offering them sweet lobbiest jobs when they're out, that they should get the same minimum wage that the lowest paid worker in their district gets. 

Have you EVER seen a senator who does not own a mansion?  I haven't.  Name ONE (prison doesn't count for the few crooks who get caught).

I heard an interesting conspiracy theory recently.  There are 7 States with legislative branches examining proposals to set up and run State Banks modeled on North Dakota's.  The theory goes that enough States set up their banks, the Fed defaults on debts and allowed to fail, then a  consortium of State banks steps in to issue new "National Reserve" currency to replace Federal Reserve Notes.  Interesting, huh?
